Hi!  I’m Heather Himelwright.

I am a lifetime resident of beautiful Palos Verdes, California.  I received my education here in California, first graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science and subsequently earning my M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.  After graduating, it was my ambition for professional success and my passion for people that led me to the world of health insurance.

During my time working for a major commercial brokerage, I noticed that the small businesses and individuals we served were being treated like they were just numbers on a spreadsheet.  I believe that no one deserves this type of treatment, which is why I founded Integrated Benefit Consultants.

Here at IBC, our main focus is to help our clients throughout the entire health benefits process, from underwriting to onboarding to filing claims. My goal is to create benefit plans for your employees and your families while also providing the support you need - all with a big smile!  It brings me great joy to be someone who our clients can trust and turn to in times of need.

In addition to being the founder and CEO of IBC, I am also the mother of two lovely kids.  I travel around with my family to my daughter’s soccer games, and I enjoy playing golf with my friends and family as well!  We love to take family trips every year to beautiful outdoor locations such as June Mountain and Bass Lake.

In an effort to share all of my healthcare knowledge with a wider audience, I decided to start my own YouTube show called Heather’s Healthcare Show.
